Rufforth Playing Fields Association has asked us to politely remind all residents of the guidelines with regard to dog walking on the fields, responsible use of the playing area, and restrictions for caravans and motorhomes. This valued community facility is for all to enjoy but relies on the respectful behaviour of local residents as well as visitors to our Parish.
Recreation Sports Ground
Please respect our Playing Fields – this area is used for sporting and recreation activities:
- All dogs to be kept on leads and under the control of a responsible person
- Dogs are not permitted to exercise on either the football or cricket pitches – please exercise your dogs around the perimeters
- In the interest of hygiene, all owners must pick up the dog’s mess
- Please carry spare dog waste bags at all times and use dog waste bins only
- A maximum of 3 dogs per person are permitted to exercise at any one time
It is an offence not to pick up immediately after your dog in any public space.
Playing Area
Parents and/or carers are responsible for the safety of their children using this area.
- All infants must be supervised
- Play area facilities are used at your own risk
- In the interest of hygiene, dogs are not permitted within the play area
Caravans and Motorhomes
- All caravans and motorhomes to pre-book site
- All caravans and motorhomes must be Caravan Club Association registered
- All caravans and motorhomes to be parked in designated area
