
The village of Rufforth is home to two places of worship, All Saints’ Church and Rufforth Methodist Church; both Churches can be found on Wetherby Road.
Built in 1894, All Saints’ Church boasts a traditional spire visible from around the local area. A small church with accommodation for a congregation of 120, All Saints Church is situated opposite the Village Institute. Built in 1843, Rufforth Methodist Church stands on land donated by Elizabeth Ellis opposite the village telephone box and is also home to the Rufforth Outreach Post Office two mornings a week. More information on the Church and forthcoming services can be found on the York Methodist website.
