In addition to the changes to the site entrance, Yorwaste have signed an Operating Agreement with the Parish Council which will prevent HGVs operated by Yorwaste and their contractors travelling through Rufforth to and from Harewood Whin, unless by express permission of management. This would only be given for bin lorries collecting from local villages and if there was a major accident or road closure on the alternative routes.
